Eva Cucherousset

Eva Cucherousset is our Intern.

Currently based in London and the Hague, she grew up between France and the Balkans, and is currently studying political science with a focus on the rise of disinformation and authoritarianism in the 21st century. Her academic work tackles the impact of war on state-building in Eastern Europe and East Asia, and the challenges faced by nascent democratic institutions in a context of political polarisation.

She has previously worked for Eastern Europe-based NGOs, researching and advocating for more resilient democratic infrastructures and increased freedom of speech, particularly in Serbia.
